I love the outdoors. as a super active, young mountain professional I have a wide range of experience in a variety of environments, whether its adventurous hill walks or remote multi-day walking expeditions. Introducing folk to the great outdoors is what I enjoy most, passing on the knowledge and skills for a lifetime of adventure.

As an experienced hill walker, qualified UK Summer Mountain Leader and holder of a BASP outdoor first aid certificate, I offer clients memorable walks in the mountainous areas of Scotland, remote walking expeditions and skills courses.

SKILLS COURSES
I can provide a range of summer walking and navigation courses to form an excellent introduction to the hills. Like all of my courses, they are designed to help build confidence in ability, awareness of the environment and instill good ethics. Whether its navigation, hill skills or expedition skills, I can help you develop and progress in a relaxed, friendly and professional manner.
INTRO TO NAVIGATION
£50pp per day
Learn the fundamental skills of navigation, map setting, interpreting scales, contours and how to keep track of where you are. We will use a range of maps and fun exercises to demystify the subject and build confidence. This one day course can be combined with the advanced navigation one day course.
ADVANCED NAVIGATION
£60pp per day
Looking to take your navigation to the next level? On this course we will reinforce existing navigation skills to build further confidence. Introducing compass work, taking bearings, walking on bearings, timing and pacing and relocating when lost.
EXPEDITION & MOUNTAIN SKILLS (2 DAYS)

Looking to develop your hill and mountain skills to support remote expeditions and walks?
​
On this 2 day course we will discuss planning, route choice, weather, emergency skills, rivers, camp craft and general expedition skills.
​
These courses are normally run in the Cairngorms and must be booked as a 2 day trip.
